Travel to Marrakech in Morocco, you just have to go on the Marrakesh express!

The Souk at Marrakech:

Summary:

We flew into Marrakech and checked into a riad tucked away in the medina, surrounded by orange trees and the constant hum of the souks.

The first evening we wandered to Djemaa el-Fna square at sunset, where food stalls filled the air with smoke, spices and loud music — I've never tasted street food like it.

Marrakech night market:

The next day we took a guided tour through the winding alleys and came across a leather tanner's district, an astonishing and unforgettable sight. From Marrakech we joined a small group heading out into the Sahara.

The drive took us over the High Atlas mountains and past ancient kasbahs before we reached Erg Chebbi, where we rode camels into the dunes just in time to watch the sun sink over ripples of golden sand.

That night we slept under a sky packed with stars, listening to the Berbers play drums around the fire. It was easily the most magical place I have ever been, and I would recommend the desert trek to anyone.
